As a talented African player it can be incredibly hard to get in the picture of international professional clubs. Players sending CV's and videos to clubs very rarely leads to a trial invitation simply because the clubs get so many of them. Sad enough, many clubs do not even consider any trial applications that come directly from players or their parents. People in the football business often say that "if a player is reallly standing out he will be scouted" - this is not our experience especially when it comes to African players.

Certainly, if you are an African striker scoring many goals in every game you maybe get enough attention but still you are relying on a club scout watching your game looking for a player in your position with your style of play and you need to be lucky that you are  playing well enough in the match they are watching to stand out. Is it any wonder that African players who are good enough are regularly missed by international club scouts?

Therefore Stars of Africa is organizing on a regular basis international showcases for the most talented player from Africa. We do this in our Continental Development center in Cairo (Egypt) which offers all the modern facilities and is easy accessible for both players and international scouts. During the week players are given the chance to demonstrate their skills in a one-week tryout, involving professional clubs from Europe. During the event, two scouts from each of the participating clubs will be present to observe players. On the final day each participating club is selecting at to least one player to join the respective team for their preseason or to offer a professional contract.
