Train 3 months like a real pro at our Stars of Africa Continental Talent Development Center in Cairo (Egypt) and present yourself to one of the participating Professional Football clubs in Europe, Egypt and the Middle East.

WE STRONGLY BELIEVE THERE IS MORE TALENT TO BE FOUND IN AFRICA
Africa has a very young population, football is by far the number one sport and there is a lot of talent to be found. Currently millions of (unregistered) youth players might possess the ability to make a career in football.
Sadly, a lot of these talents in the middle of their prime time don’t get the right training & coaching or have negative experiences with illegal scouts and agents who are not delivering what they promise. A European Commission’s Study on Sports Agents claimed that increasing numbers of young African males were undertaking clandestine journeys to Europe under the false pretence of a contract or trial with a professional football club.

The best teams in the world have two or three outstanding individuals who can make a difference. We want to develop strong individuals who are capable of unlocking matches.

This requires a player-centered approach; every exercise we create, every word we say, every non-verbal signal we send and every decision we make must be beneficial to the individual development of each and every player. Therefore, our coaches make individual development plans with all players, which recognize their own needs, and provide them with the necessary support to carry out these plans.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR AFRICAN ACADEMIES & UNIVERSITIES
Independent Football Academies and their coaches can join the Stars of Africa platform and receive all the technical and marketing support to be more successful in their region. Through economies of scale they can deliver a more professional, attractive and promising experience to their members and develop individual players with the confidence and the ability to make the difference in modern professional football.
More effective Training sessions
The Stars of Africa CoachingApp makes it easier for coaches to offer a well-structured, result oriented and effective training program for their players. The curriculum is based on the 7 principles of play, a proven concept applied by the most successful clubs in Europe such as Bayern Munich, Manchester city, Barcelona and Ajax. Each training-session is supported by field set up animations, learning objectives, methodical approach and coaching points. All this contributes to more fun, better results and more convenience for the coaches.
Better Coaches
Coaches are supervised and trained by a group of very experienced international Master Coaches and following a comprehensive coach education program to improve their coaching skills. With the SOA CoachingApp also relatively inexperienced coaches are able to provide varied and structural exercises throughout the season, suitable by age and at a minimum of preparation time. Beside that it helps coaches to easily assess players after the training session based on a set of relevant development goals for the specific age group.
Increasing Marketing Impact
The platform offers a unique opportunity for those who want to be a professional football player. All participating academies have the right to send their best teams and/or players to the Stars of Africa Youth Cup or international showcase events organized by Stars of Africa. A more collective promotional approach is increasing the impact and visibility of African talents and attracts the attention of international club scouts. To present themselves in their country all academies receive a marketing package and guidelines how to represent the Stars of Africa platform in their region.
